It has been brought to our attention that certain unscrupulous and fraudulent individuals / agencies / job portals are sending out false / fake emails / offers of appointment purportedly from "Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC)".

Such agencies/individuals often ask the job seekers to deposit a certain amount as a security fee for interview / other charges. The appointment offers are falsely stated to be from officials of DVC often with fake signatures.

Please note that DVC does not collect any money except application fee which is mentioned in the advertisement posted on DVC website www.dvc.gov.in only and not on any other website.

DVC follows a comprehensive merit based recruitment process and all information regarding recruitment is communicated on the official DVC website www.dvc.gov.in only.

DVC advises job seekers:

1. NOT to respond to any fraudulent emails.
2. NOT to fall prey to such fraudulent activities.
3. NOT to make any payments to such fraudsters.

Any job seeker dealing with such unauthorized, fraudulent or suspicious appointment offer(s) or interview call(s) would be doing so at their own risk and DVC cannot be held responsible for any such fraudulent action(s).

DVC reserves its right to take legal action including criminal action against such fraudsters.
